Austin Aries Returns: 205Live Review

205 Live continued off its momentum of the Fastlane pay-per-view.
Austin Aries officially joins the Cruiserweight division.

Austin Aries opened up the show he explained he has been suffering from a broken orbital socket for a few months now. However, now he is medically cleared to join the roster of WWE 205 Live. As a result, this did not sit well with Neville came out. Neville did not any part of Austin Aries because he has enough enemies and Aries issued an open challenge to anybody on the roster.

Rich Swann and Jack Gallagher vs. Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari

This tag team match brought a unique contrast of styles between both teams. It appeared that Swann was still hurting from his match on RAW against Neville. Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari did their best to isolate Swann.
Once Swann gave a hot tag to Gallagher, the momentum shifted as Gallagher utilized his unique offense which included his deadly headbutt on Dar. Swann followed this by hitting a Phoenix Splash on Dar for the win.

Akira Tozawa vs. Bryan Kendrick

Akira Tozawa wanted to battle The Brian Kendrick instead he had a match with Bryan Kendrick. Tozawa was irate he unleashed and took out all his frustration on his opponent. He made quick of Kendrick when he connected with his deadly Snap German Suplex. This was a statement win by Tozawa as he delivered a message to The Brian Kendrick.

Austin Aries vs. Tony Nese

Answering Aries’ open challenge was answered by “The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese. After months of being sidelined, Aries showed absolutely no rust as he displayed speed and his agility, as he got the upper hand in the match early on. Compared to “The Premier Athlete” as he got back in control of the match with his overall strength. Nese showcased his strength as he connected with a one arm Powerbomb to Aries. Aries delivered a Roaring Elbow as he got an impressive win.
