Jack Gallagher Continues To Shine: 205 Live Review

Last night 205 Live featured three incredible matches as the best cruiserweights in the WWE showcased their skills.

The Brian Kendrick vs. Akira Tozawa

This feud continued from RAW as The Brian Kendrick was offended when Tozawa declined to be his mentor. As a result, Kendrick assaulted Tozawa and made him tap out via Captian Hook. Moving forward to last night it was a great match but the man with a plan got the last laugh. Kendrick managed to tie Tozawa’s foot in the ropes under the ring apron to win by count-out.

Noam Dar vs. Mustafa Ali

Noam Dar looked to rebound following a loss to a returning Rich Swann last week on WWE 205 Live. It wasn’t going to be easy because he took the high-flying  Mustafa Ali.

Ali always wanted to keep the pace of the match fast. The Scottish Supernova had different plans and he would always escape the ring and attempted to slow the pace down. Ali showcase his jumping ability when he jumped over the referee to the outside on Dar.

The match went back and forth as both struggled to gain momentum on each other. The Scottish Supernova capitalized managed to kick his opponent’s legs out from under him, Ali went face first into the ring post. Then Dar connected with a massive knee strike to score a win.

Jack Gallagher vs. Tony Nese

Jack Gallagher vs. Tony Nese

Gallagher is flying high as he is the new one contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. This week he battled “The Premier Athlete with Tony Nese. Early in the contest, Gallagher struggled to gain any momentum on The Premier Athlete.

Gallagher showed off his unique technical skills as he put Nese into innovating submission holds. This was a good test for Gallagher leading up to his encounter with Neville at Fastline. The final sequence of this match was crazy. Gallagher executed a belly-to-back Superplex on Nese. This was followed by a running Dropkick as Gallagher survived.
