Episode 4: Fim Oshin of FourVertsFootball.com

For the fourth episode of Baltimore Flockast, Kyle will speak to Fim Oshin (the creator of FourVertsFootball.com).

Before that, Kyle discusses the Baltimore Ravens’ loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Joe Flacco was very, very poor in Sunday’s matchup, going 8-for-18, passing for just 28 yards and being picked off twice. This season, Flacco has averaged 5.3 yards per attempt, the lowest of his career.

Baltimore’s offensive line is also struggling because of injury. Tony Bergstrom didn’t even suit up for the game against the Jaguars, after being the first guard off of the bench in the wake of Marshal Yanda’s injury against the Cleveland Browns. Matt Skura and Jermaine Eluemunor both played on Sunday and both players struggled.

Despite having just one loss, Baltimore has looked off kilter when it comes to their offense. This has caused some to question the talent of the team and especially the coaching. They currently rank 32nd in passing yards per game (121.3 yards per game), 32nd in yards per game (263.7 yards per game) and 23rd in points per game (17.0 points per game).

Baltimore offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg has re-committed to the running game, with Baltimore ranking 4th in the NFL in rushing yards per game (142.3). Terrance West, Alex Collins and Buck Allen have showed some burst, but it hasn’t really done anything to assist their passing offense. Is Mornhinweg on the hot seat going into the Steelers game or is it more than just the offensive coordinator’s fault?

Oshin discusses the Baltimore and their issues on offense. Should they look to draft a new quarterback next year and is John Harbaugh on the hot seat? He also speaks about the defense and gives Ravens fans some words of encouragement before Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
