Road to WrestleMania: Fastlane PPV Review

Last night Fastlane took place it was the last pay-per-view, before the biggest pay-per-view of the year in WrestleMania 33.

The King of the Crusierweights recovers and executes the Red Arrow to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

The King Reigns Supreme

The Cruiserweights delivered probably the best match of the night. Gallagher held nothing back as refusing to stay down and left it on the line to attempt to dethrone the king.

As painful as those two headbutts must have been, it was a third strike to the head this lead to Neville being on the top turnbuckle. The Gentleman seized the opportunity to attempt yet another off Superplex,  Neville countered. Then, Neville capitalized with his former Red Arrow to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Title.

The Legit Boss celebrates Bayley's victory.

The Streak Is Over

Going into this match and a lot was at stake with Charlotte undefeated streak at 16-0 on PPV. Compared to Bayley being in her first title defense. Charlotte Flair pulled off memorable moments such as a Moonsault and a swift standing senton for a near fall.Bayley was resilient battling back with knee strikes, kicks, hurricanrana and an elbow drop. Charlotte hit Natural Selection for a near fall. Sasha Banks came down to the ring to assist her friend Bayley to connected with a Bayley-to-Belly Suplex on the floor.

Back in the Charlotte attempted to steal a win as she grabbed Bayley’s tights. However, The Boss pointed that out to the referee. Charlotte was distracted as Bayley hit another Bayley-to-Belly Suplex for the win. In the process, Bayley retained her RAW Women’s Championship. Charlotte undefeated streak is over at 15-0.

The Prizefighter shows no fear in the face of one of the most dominant Superstars ever.

New Champion

This main event was a complete waste. Goldberg made very quick work of Kevin Owens in 21 seconds all it took was a Spear, Jackhammer and a distraction from Chris Jericho.

Fastlane was extremely disappointing as it failed to live up to expectations. There is no point for filler matches and the main event just killed the night.
