On Saturday and Sunday, a historic 16 men tournament will take place to crown the inaugural WWE UK Champion. I will provide my thoughts on this groundbreaking tournament that will forever WWE mindset for doing tournaments in the near future.

1) New Champion

The fans will be talking because of all the non-stop action an inaugural WWE UK Champion will be crowned and make history. In addition, The 16 competitors will represent England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Now going into this tournament I am familiar with four wrestlers out of the 16. The four wrestlers that I know and I have seen in the ring are Mark Andrews, Danny Burch, Pete Dunn and finally Trent Seven.

2) Global

The WWE Network is an unbelievable tool because it allows the company to push boundaries. It is always amazing as wrestling fans to be able to consume wrestling from the comfort of your own home. It will be a very entertaining to watch because British fans are always vocal. It will put the talent from the united kingdom yet another level courtesy of the WWE Network.

3) Exposure

This tournament will no doubt be a success which could result in another show on the WWE Network. That is the WWE ultimate goal which will showcase the British Wrestling scene. The UK tournament will only add to the exclusive content on the WWE Network. The exposure of this tournament will benefit every independent Wrestling promotions that the 16 competitors represent. I was introduced to the Progress Wrestling which is best British Wrestling promotion in England I was addicted. I had the privilege of attending Smash Wrestling which is one of the best promotions in Canada. Smash Wrestling took on Progress it was a two-day event and my appreciation for British Wrestling grew. Once this tournament is all set and done this tournament will turn a lot of heads to all the talent overseas.

Winning Pick

Overall it is difficult to decide a winner for this tournament. However, I am leaning towards Pete Dunn because he has a certain swagger inside the ring and he is extremely talented.
