The Wyatt Family Are Running Things:SmackDown Review

SmackDown this week looked to continue the momentum off of the Royal Rumble. I will provide a breakdown of my thoughts as well as the results.

Orton made a statement

Randy Orton is on quite a roll ever since he joined the Wyatt Family. On Sunday he was the last man standing in the Royal Rumble. In the process, he punched his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 33. Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton took on the unlikely tag team of Luke and John Cena. The Wyatt Family continue to dominate and they picked up wins via an RKO on Luke Harper.

Back To Back Wins

Ever since Noami returned from filming The Marine he is one of the hottest Women in a stacked division on SmackDown. She currently holds two wins over SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. Therefore she will be the next in line for a SmackDown Women’s Championship opportunity.

This allows Styles to capitalize with the Styles Clash on Ambrose for the win.

Main event

It was an intriguing main event between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose. The Miz ended up coming out as he joined commentary for the main event. Baron Corbin joined the commentary as well The Miz was pissed that Corbin was involved in Elimination Chamber. Eventually, Corbin had enough of the Miz words and it escalated as the two getting into a fight at ringside. This caused a distraction for Ambrose, which led to Styles capitalized on the opportunity as he hit a Styles Clash on The Lunatic Fringe for the win. After the contest, The Miz hit the Skull-Crushing Finale on Ambrose and then Corbin take out both Miz and Ambrose with End of Days.
