Panthers: Ja’Tavion Sanders Sustains Neck Injury

It was a start moment for Carolina Panthers rookie tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Sanders hauled in a first down reception before being forced out of bounds. As he fell to the ground, it appeared the weight of his body fell on his neck. After evaluation by triainers, a cart was brought out to transport Sanders from the field.

It was later disclosed that instead of retiring to the game, the former Texas Longhorn was headed to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The team confirmed that he does have movement in his extremities.
