SPORTIME Pickleball will debut its newest facility in Wayne, New Jersey, the weekend of Sept. 6–7, marking the latest step in the company’s rapid expansion across the Northeast portion of the United States.
A division of SPORTIME Clubs, the largest operator of tennis clubs in the greater New York area, SPORTIME Pickleball has quickly become a leading force in the region’s fast-growing pickleball scene.
Backed by more than 30 years of racquet sports expertise, SPORTIME operates dedicated pickleball clubs throughout the Tri-State area and beyond, serving a community of more than 70,000 active players.
Its newest Wayne location leverages that experience, designed as both a destination and a community hub with 18 indoor, cushioned, climate-controlled courts — including a showpiece stadium court — plus player lounges, private event spaces, a dinking wall and spacious viewing areas where the action continues long after the last point.
Opening weekend festivities will include facility tours, introductory open play sessions, pro shop specials, raffles and photo opportunities.
Registration for the weekend opens 30 days prior, with early participants eligible for a free introductory membership offering premium access and complimentary benefits through Oct. 31.
“We are always striving to provide exceptional and innovative facilities and to create a vibrant community of players who all share the same passion for the game,” said Joe Siegel, SPORTIME Pickleball’s managing director.
The game of pickleball has seen five consecutive years of growth, drawing players across generations. More than one million children in 2025 alone had picked up the sport.
“As we continue to open new pickleball facilities across our markets, and in new ones, our goal is to create vibrant, welcoming clubs, where families can play together, where neighbors can connect, and where everyone feels supported and inspired to fall in love with the game,” said Claude Okin, SPORTIME’s president and CEO.
The Wayne opening is part of a broader wave of new clubs launching this fall.
SPORTIME Pickleball Yorktown Heights in New York will open Sept. 13–14, with another facility planned for Armonk later this year.
Together with its existing Englewood location, the expansion will give players reciprocal access to 30 courts in northern New Jersey and 23 across Westchester County.
Memberships start at $20 a month, unlocking discounts, early booking and multi-club access. Non-members can still join programs and book courts at regular rates.
Pickleball’s rise shows no signs of slowing — and with its new best-in-class facilities, SPORTIME is aiming to keep pace with the sport’s explosive growth.
