The Women’s Pro Baseball League (WPBL) is partnering with DICK’S Sporting Goods to be the Official Sporting Goods Retailer for its inaugural 2026 season, marking the return of women’s professional baseball since 1954.
The partnership will debut from March 18 and March 19 at the WPBL x Boston Red Sox Spring Training in Fort Myers, Florida and later unveil a league-wide uniform during the spring.
Prolook became DICK’s Sporting Goods partner in costuming designed jerseys for the WPBL Countdown Tour and becoming the first on-field apparel for the partnership.
Moreover, the WPBL’s top 20 athletes will be at JetBlue Park along with former MLB players, training with each other and sharpening their skills.
The tour is also launching the league’s speaker series, the WPBL Group Chat LIVE! on March 18 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The series allows fans to hear stories and ask questions to players and feature a meet and greet, autographs and exclusive giveaways.
In addition, March 19 will feature a fan fest at the Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins game from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m.
The WPBL became the first professional women’s baseball league nationally and the season started on August 1, 2026 concluding the regular season at the end September.
The upcoming season will feature four teams, New York, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco as the season debuts at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield, Illinois.
The Spring Training will feature 25 players including Boston’s Raine Padgham and Lexi Hasting, Los Angeles’ Brittany Apgar and Mo’ne Davis will be attending Spring Training.
New York will have players such as Jadia Lee and Keria Izumi while San Francisco will feature Amanda Gianelloni and Joely Leguizamon. For more information fans can visit the league’s official site.
