The Grove, England- Head Coach Dan Quinn announced after practice that QB Jayden Daniels will be out for the game against the Indianapolis Colts. Quinn stated that it was a big step that Daniels was out there and in the portions we were allowed to watch looked fine. The ball coming out of his hand was his usual self and his mobility was fine. With no damage really being done this injury is more about pain management and Daniels’ comfort level with a brace. The New York Giants always seemed more logical for a return.
Head Coach Quinn did announce that TE Chig Okonkwo and LB Frankie Luvu will return Sunday. Both starters, and Luvu is a captain, will be added playmakers on the both sides of the ball. Okonkwo especially with the tight end position only having eight total receptions this season, two by Okonkwo in week 1. Luvu will be another linebacker as Leo Chenal is out for the season, Washington will have three versatile linebackers.
Also no determination has been made on RB Rachaad White but he has not practiced all week. His status will be know later.
