Outside of professional sports broadcasting, Sanchez has also coached little league in his former baseball league, coupled alongside additionally helping the little league raise money via grassroots fundraising and positive community outreach throughout New England. Sanchez, an avid proponent of Charter schools and fixing the achievement gap, often makes guest appearances to speak to students and teachers at local schools in Boston, MA.
