BSC Young Boys and Côte d’Ivoire international star, Roger Assalé, 25, sealed another startling season with the Swiss giants this term courtesy of playing an instrumental role in the club sealing consecutive back-to-back Swiss Super League titles.
The talented BSC Young Boys forward, who scored eight goals and assisted nine in 38 games in all competitions throughout 2018/2019 (2,672 minutes played), has operated as a centre forward, second striker and left winger throughout his professional career at both domestic club and senior international level.
The Côte d’Ivoire forward participated in 73% of total minutes this season for the dominant Swiss champions, whilst also being directly involved in 18% of all of BSC Young Boys goals throughout 2018/2019. Assalé, who was in the BSC Young Boys starting line-up 78% this term under Gerardo Seoane, has won 14 senior international caps and netted once for Les Lions Indomptables.
