FIFA Announces New Base Camps and Collaboration with On Location

An exciting announcement for World Cup fans. On November 21, FIFA announced a hospitality deposit program and 26 new base camps (homes away from home) for teams playing in the 26th FIFA World Cup.

The new base camps are located across the United States, Canada, and Mexico on sites such as universities like Gonzaga in Spokane, Washington and Kennesaw State in Atlanta, Georgia and stadiums such as Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. New non-USA locations include Chivas Verde Valle in Guadalajara, Mexico and the Rayados Training Center in Monterrey, Mexico.

These new base camps bring the current total to 49, with even more options on the way in 2025.

On the other hand, the hospitality deposit program is the first of its kind for FIFA and will give participants priority when it comes to accessing hospitality packages–which should go on sale some time in 2025 on FIFA.com/hospitality.

On Location, based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, is spearheading this debut program. As the official partners of over 150 different groups including the NCAA Final Four, the Rose Bowl, and the Super Bowl they bring a plethora of experience in providing once in a lifetime events in a variety of sports and entertainment settings.

The program will be live until February 16th, 2025 and following that the participants will be contacted to purchase accommodations and exclusive add-ons that match their needs whether they plan to travel to Mexico, Canada, or the USA for World Cup 26, which begins on June 11th, 2026 at the Estadio Azteca Mexico City
