Jackson Questionable for Panthers Road Game vs Lions

Carolina Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson, who left Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury, has been listed as questionable for the team’s upcoming road game against the Detroit Lions. He was a full participant in Friday’s unpadded practice but was limited the rest of the week. If Jackson is unable to go that further depletes the secondary as safety Xavier Woods will miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury. The other starting cornerback Jaycee Horn is not eligible to return from IR for another week.

Linebacker Frankie Luvu was the only player limited in Friday’s practice but he has no game designation. Right guard Austin Corbett and tight end Stephen Sullivan returned to practice this week but have not been activated to the 53-man roster yet. Sam Franklin will start in place of Woods and the Panthers will roll with CJ Henderson, Troy Hill, and D’Shawn Jamison at the cornerback position if Jackson is unable to play.
