Panthers Add Secondary Depth, Agree to Terms with Troy Hill

The Carolina Panthers have added some depth to the cornerback room by agreeing to term with veteran Troy Hill on Sunday night. Hill played with the Los Angeles Rams from 2015-2020 and spent last season there as well. He comes with familiarity having played under current Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and cornerbacks coach Jonathan Cooley.

At 31 years old, Hill has eight career interceptions, with two returned for touchdowns in 2020 under the tutelage of Evero and Cooley. There has been no corresponding move as he has not officially signed just yet.
