Well, that didn’t take much time at all. Former Florida State Seminole and new Carolina Panthers safety Jammie Robinson has agreed to terms on his rookie contract. The team announced on Tuesday that the fifth round pick has agreed to terms on a four-year contract.
At 5’11, 191 pounds, the defensive back brings versatility to the secondary with his ability to play nickel. In his two seasons at Florida State, Robinson was a two-time All-ACC selection. Over the course of 47 games, he racked up 319 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 23 pass breakups, seven interceptions, and one sack. He shared the defensive backfield with Panthers starting cornerback Jaycee Horn at South Carolina before transferring to FSU.
