Adam Cole WWE Debut: NXT Take Over Brooklyn III

NXT Takeover III was a historic night because Adam Cole made a statement to end the show. Here are my overall thoughts on Cole’s NXT Takeover III debut.

Shocking debut

Adam Cole finally made his at NXT Take Over Brooklyn III. After Drew McIntyre defeated The Glorious One Bobby Roode he became the new NXT Champion. It was a gang attack by Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly appeared for a second time in the evening as they stood on the apron during McIntyre’s celebration. Then Adam Cole came out of nowhere to brutally assault McIntyre and he gave him a super kick for his troubles. As a result, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Adam Cole all stood over Roode. Cole had the NXT Championship in his hand as he raised over his head.

Title picture

This assault from Cole puts himself immediately in the title picture for an NXT Championship. In addition to the fact that he will be viewed them as legit competition immediately.

New talent

That additional talent will bring some new life to the NXT product. Along with that talent, it will create first time matches for the fans to witness. This could not have happened at a better time because the next the NXT and product was getting a little stale.

About Time

It was rumored that Adam Cole would be coming for years now so there is no surprise element. A week prior to NXT TakeOver III Brooklyn WWE and Cole agreed to terms on a contract.

Conclusion

Only time will tell what will happen with Adam Cole Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly. One thing is for sure Adam Cole Will definitely bring some much-needed that excitement to that NXT product.
