Prior to Senegal’s opening FIFA World Cup 2018 Group H 2-1 win against Robert Lewandowski’s Poland, FOX Sports 96.9 FM/1340 AM’s Dean Perretta spoke with AS Monaco and Senegal star Keita Baldé.
They would discuss Baldé becoming the official celebrity brand Ambassador for acclaimed international luxury clothing brand Animal Eye London, as well as touching on Animal Eye London’s growth and the brands finest offerings within the diverse and luxury collection.
In France’s competitive Ligue 1 in 2017-2018, the talented Baldé scored 8 goals in 33 appearances for French powerhouse AS Monaco. The Senegalese star joined the French giants last summer for €30m from Serie A side S.S Lazio.
Perretta: First and foremost Keita, you’re the official Ambassador for trendsetting luxury clothing brand Animal Eye London. What do you admire most about Animal Eye London and its collection?
Baldé: I am very proud to say, I’m this innovative new brand ambassador. A project created by one of my best friends who I support strongly. From my point of view, what I like the most besides the incredible quality and its fabrics, is the intention of creating a trend and style through unique pieces, and the idea of lifestyle they (Animal Eye London) give to the consumer.
Perretta: Animal Eye London’s diverse range has an array of high-end designs elegantly tailored with exception. Which particular Animal Eye London products in the new collection would you personally recommend and why?
Baldé: To be honest, I could recommend any of the garments they have, but actually, smart shirts are my weakness, and even more Animal Eye’s shirt collection, because they have such an amazing personality that nobody will miss you wearing one of them. Definitely, I would recommend Mephobia shirt.
Perretta: Animal Eye London has intriguing events such as the next Ambassador campaign which you headline Keita. What does it mean for you personally to headline such a campaign for Animal Eye London?
Baldé: As I said before, I’m so proud to represent and take part of this project. Fashion industry is growing faster than ever and rivalry gets higher every time. Even though, this new brand has something very special to me, and it makes me want to approach the public and share new things like this with them. The truth is that I really enjoy these type of events.
Perretta: Animal Eye London has succeeded combining the unique realms of Fashion, Urban Events and Professional Sports. What can fashion aficionados expect from Animal Eye London in the near future?
Baldé: That is exactly the lifestyle we want to transmit. A really cool brand the market has never seen before. We want to reach people interested in sports, and those who enjoy a good night out and feel exclusive.
We have organized multiple events around Europe such as Pacha Barcelona, Shoko Madrid, Libertine London and soon, the team will take the brand (Animal Eye London) on a tour around Spain. In the near future, as I said, we hope to be recognized internationally and collaborate with other brands, improving each collection.
