Lamar Jackson practices fully for the second day in a row, and the Baltimore Ravens are starting to sound like a team that expects its quarterback back on Sunday in Buffalo.
Jackson was listed as a full participant on both Wednesday’s and Thursday’s injury reports as he works back from the ankle injury that has kept him out of the lineup since Oct. 7. He said last week that it was a high ankle sprain. Baltimore has gone 1-2 in the three games he has missed, including last Sunday’s 35-13 loss to Cincinnati with Tyler Huntley under center.
Head coach Jesse Minter is still not ready to make it official. “We’ll kind of see how it goes throughout the week,” Minter said, according to the Associated Press.
Jackson is not the only good news. Guard Vega Ioane, who sprained his MCL against the Bengals, returned as a limited participant Thursday, just four days after the injury. Safety Kyle Hamilton, linebacker Roquan Smith and guard John Simpson were also limited Thursday.
Tight end Mark Andrews, edge rusher Trey Hendrickson and left tackle Ronnie Stanley were all full participants, and T.J. Tampa Jr. and Adam Randall were full as they return from injured reserve.
The one name trending the wrong way is safety Jaylinn Hawkins, who missed practice for a second straight day with a knee injury.
The Ravens will release final game designations Friday. Baltimore (4-3) visits the Bills (5-1) at Highmark Stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
