Saturday night NXT invades Orlando at Amway Center for NXT TakeOver: Orlando and it’s a stacked card here are my thoughts.
Aleister Black vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas
Aleister Black will make his highly anticipated debut at NXT TakeOver: Orlando when he faces Andrade “Cien” Almas. For weeks, fans have seen videos hyping up the arrival of Black. Black’s opponent Almas has been on quite a roll when he decided to adopt his new attitude. Almas will push Black to the limit but he will come out short and Black will pick up his first win in NXT.
Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, No Way Jose Ruby Riot vs. SAnitY
SAnitY has been running NXT through NXT for a couple of months and nobody has been able to stop them. Ever since The Perfect 10 turned down an offer to join SAnitY. Tye Dillinger has been a marked in countless attacks. As a result of the brutal attacks, Roderick Strong and No Way Jose joined forces with Tye Dillinger. Then a couple of weeks ago mysterious women by the name of Ruby Riot made her NXT debut to even up the odds. Come this Saturday SAnitY will taste defeat for this time.
NXT Women’s Championship
Ember Moon vs. Asuka
Since Asuka arrival in NXT in October 2015, she still remains undefeated. The Empress of Tomorrow has dominated her competition. She shocked the world when she defeated Bayley with the Asuka Lock and became the new NXT Women`s Championship at NXT TakeOver: Dallas.
Asuka has been screaming for competition for a while now but she needs to be careful what she asks for. Moon earned her championship opportunity after she defeated Billie Kay on NXT. After learning of her impending showdown with Asuka, Moon declared that NXT will enter a new phase on April 1.
For the first time in a long Asuka will have legit competition. It is time for a change Asuka will try to avoid the Eclipse. However, Moon will found a way to connect with Eclipse and she will be crowned the new NXT Women’s Champion.
NXT Tag Team Championship
Triple Threat
The Authors of Pain, DIY and The Revival
NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain have been impressive in NXT. Come this Saturday, they will have their hands full defending their NXT Tag Team titles against The Revival and DIY.
Akam and Rezar made history at NXT Universe at TakeOver: San Antonio. They defeated Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa to capture the NXT Tag Team titles for the first time. However, in the rematch, Gargano and Ciampa took the champions to the limit.
All of a sudden The Revival decided to interfere in the match which ended in a no contest. The Revival have targeted Akam & Rezar in recent weeks, attacking The Authors of Pain from behind and even hitting Akam with their devastating Shatter Machine. Dash & Dawson have always managed to escape the wrath of the monsters, leaving The Authors hungry for vengeance.
NXT Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bobby Roode
This is going to a fantastic rematch for NXT Champion between of the most flamboyant superstars in NXT. Roode made a promise that if he was to win the NXT Championship he would take the brand to a whole new level.
Roode successfully defended his the NXT Championship against Kassius Ohno in a compelling match. Nakamura will be looking for revenge after he was out for over a month with a knee in their previous match.
