RAW Review 11/7/16

Owens pins his best friend Jericho to win!

RAW was a historic night because it was the first that RAW took place in Scotland Ireland it was a lackluster episode I will provide my highlights as well as the results.

Entertaining finish

At the beginning of the show Stephanie McMahon stated that the final man in the five men vs five men, traditional Survivor Series match it was Seth Rollins. Therefore Stephanie McMahon let all five men on Team RAW fight in a Fatal 5-Way in order to get their aggressive out.

In the beginning of that match, Strowman looked very impressive against everybody. Then everybody came to their senses and fought Braun Strowman to eliminate from the match. This match showcased people true colors as Jericho and Owens worked as a cohesive unit.  Fans saw that Rollins and  Reigns worked together. Rollins connected with a Powerbomb to Jericho through a table.

The finishing sequence was amazing Rollins nearly won the match when he gave a Pedigree to Jericho after Owens had given a Superkick to Rollins out of the ring, Reigns hit Owens with a Superman Punch, and The Prizefighter toppled fell on top of his best friend and inadvertently picked up the win.

 Debut

Due to the fact that RAW was live in Scotland for the first time, Scotland’s very own Noam Dar made his main roster debut. Noam Dar got an unbelievable crowd reaction that was truly amazing. Noam Dar was The Brian Kendrick’s partner against Rich Swann and Sin Cara. Unfortunately, it did not go, Noam Dar way because he lost his debut match from his country.

Rich Swann is on quite a roll he pinned Kendrick for the second straight time. Then The Brian Kendrick blamed the loss on Noam Dar even though it was not his fault. This outcome resulted in both men fought each other after the match.

 Title shot

Last week, Dolph Ziggler issued an open challenge to anybody on the RAW roster to battle for Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. The Raw General Manager Mick Foley suggested Sami Zayn for that spot, however, Stephanie McMahon was not impressed she preferred Rusev instead.

Therefore the only suggestion was to have a match between Rusev and Zayn to see who will face Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. It was a good match, however, I was not invested in the match at all, Zayn was able to pick up the win by the Helluva Kick. WWE logic in regards to booking matches drives me insane because this was supposed to be an open challenge. Instead, the fans know who Dolph is battling, therefore, it eliminates the element of surprise.

RAW Results

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson defeated Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day via the Magic Killer.

Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Alicia Fox defeated Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Dana Brooke and Nia Jax

Bayley connected with a Bayley-to-Bellying to the Queen and picked up the win for her team.
