205 Live last night was very intriguing as the main focus was on the main event as Cedric Alexander took on Neville. Neville is just a couple of days away from the Royal Rumble. I will provide a brief breakdown of the episode.
Tony Nese against TJ Perkins
The show started with a bang as “The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese took on his hardest test to date with TJ Perkins. Both wrestlers rely upon lighting quick attacks but Nese also he uses his power to his advantage. Nese controlled the majority of the match but Nese made a mistake and Perkins capitalized and got the win via a crucifix pin. After the match, Nese snapped and connected with his devastating turnbuckle with a German suplex on Perkins. That wasn’t enough Nese as he hit his deadly running knee strike.
The Brian Kendrick against Tripp Bradshaw
The Brian Kendrick took on Toledo’s own Tripp Bradshaw. Kendrick was in complete domination and locked in the Captain Hook submission it was all over.
Cedric Alexander against Neville
Cedric Alexander faced his greatest challenge to date the hottest Cruiserweight in the WWE right now Neville. This match was an excellent contest and both competitors love to focus on their speed and high-flying attacks. However, Neville has been on a mission lately and against Alexander was no different. Neville made an example out of Alexander by conducting as much damage as possible to him. Then turning point on of the match happened when Noam Dar came out. The distraction from Dar caused Alexander to slip off the top rope. Neville capitalized on this opportunity and locked in the Rings of Saturn submission which caused Alexander to tap out. Rich Swann and Neville fought against each other as security had to break it up. Their match at Royal Rumble will be compelling and it will be Swann’s toughest test.
