Three Keys to Victory for Washington Against the Giants

1.Limit Turnovers

In the first game against the Giants Kyle Allen had two turnovers. Those turnovers led to 14 points for the Giants, which hurt because the defense was stellar and the Giants scored 20 points total. In the Cowboys game, Allen was flawless with zero turnovers. That is what will keep him starting games is not turning the ball over. Zero turnovers and Washington should win this game.

2. Hit Daniel Jones

In the first game Washington’s defensive line asserted its dominance. Although only recording one sack, the team had five quarterback hits on Jones. However Jones was able to hurt Washington with his legs on some zone read plays. Washington needs to dictate the game to Jones and not let him get comfortable. The line needs to play like the Cowboys game. Jones will turn the ball over and Washington’s defense needs to assist him in that area.

3. Possess the Ball

In the first matchup Washington held the ball for 33:30 of the game. Washington needs to duplicate that performance to control the game. In their victories Washington has had the ball on average of 35 minutes a game. So Kyle Allen will need to convert third downs with his arm and his legs to do this. The target for this game should be around 60 plays and 35 minutes of possession.

Prediction

I have picked Washington in the last two games and have gone 1-1, however I was a two point conversion away from 2-0. Washington remembers being the better team a few weeks ago and will use that as motivation. Washington 24 Giants 14
