On Monday, Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule spoke with media where he provided an injury update for side receiver DJ Moore. Moore suffered a non-contact ankle injury on one of the last plays of the Panthers 28-27 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. X-rays came back negative and Rhule does not expect Moore to be hindered when the Panthers return from their bye week.
The Panthers sit at 5-7 and will host the Denver Broncos in Week 14. The Broncos currently sit at 4-7 and were forced to start rookie practice squad wide receiver Kendall Hinton at quarterback when the team’s entire quarterback depth chart was declared ineligible to play due to the NFL’s Covid-19 protocols.
