The Carolina Panthers went into the 2023 NFL Draft with limited draft capital after a few trades, including the one to move to No. 1 where they selected Alabama quarterback Bryce Young. Aside from a trade up to No. 80 to draft pass rusher DJ Johnson from Oregon, the Panthers made no splashy moves over the three day event. Their final pick was Florida State defensive back Jammie Robinson at No. 145. Here’s what we know about Robinson:
- Appeared in 47 games with 37 starts
- Recorded 319 tackles, including 15.5 for loss with 1.0 sack, seven interceptions, 16 pass breakups, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery
- Two-time first-team All-ACC
He spoke with Charlotte media for the first time on Saturday afternoon. Watch here.
