The Miz has always been flying under the radar for years in the WWE. Therefore, it is an excellent time to reflect on his recent success as an Intercontinental Champion.

The WWE did a fantastic job bringing back Maryse the day after WrestleMania 32 on RAW. In the process, she helped her husband take back his Intercontinental Championship from Zack Ryder. Both The Miz and Maryse two complement each other very well because they both feed off the hate from the crowd.
Prestige
Love or hate The Miz he brings back the prestige to the Intercontinental Championship. The Intercontinental Championship belongs around his waist. Whenever he talks fans listen despite their opinions towards him. It’s no secret the importance of this championship because it was his favorite title growing up.
Looking at the RAW roster and the mid card it’s extremely thin for the Intercontinental Championship. The Miz is the perfect fit for Intercontinental Championship in my opinion. There are very few wrestlers that could elevate Intercontinental Championship.
Seven
Seven is a lucky number The Miz is only two more title reigns he will tie and surpass the legendary Chris Jericho. The Miz will easily surpass Jericho’s mark and leave his own mark on this his historic title.It simply unbelievable when The Miz won Intercontinental Championship multiple times. At the time It didn’t look like he was going to win it seven times.
Conclusion
The Miz has built quite an impressive resume in the first couple of couple were questionable. However, to defeat John Cena at WrestleMania 27 was quite an accomplishment. Ever since his movie star gimmick, the Miz has not disappointed at all. He has brought into as a heel and he knows how to constantly create heat and make fans hate him. It will be interesting what the future has in store for The Miz.
