In their 2nd road game of the season, Morgan State defeated South Florida, 63-53. MSU was rather consistent in this outing, keeping their lead for the majority of the game. The Bears shot 40% from the floor overall and 41.7% from the three-point line as well. The Morgan State defense accumulated 7 steals and 3 blocks as the Bears held off USF throughout the game.
Lapri Macray-Pace lead the Bears will 15 points and he also shot 75% from the three-point line in the win. Martez Cameron and Phillip Carr both added 10 points in an effort where 10 out of 11 Bears scored. Byers, Carr, and Cameron were crashing the boards as well. All three players both accumulated 5 rebounds or more in a team effort.
