2018 MEAC Women’s and Men’s Tournament Seedings

The Mid-Eastern Atheltic Conference regular season is now complete.

North Carolina A&T picks up another MEAC trophy this year as they are tied for 1st in the MEAC with Bethune-Cookman. But due to tiebreaker rules, A&T will be seeded number one in the MEAC Women’s Tournament.

In the Men’s tournament, the departing Hampton Pirates clinched the number one seed due to tiebreaker rules. In terms of their regular season finish; they tied for 1st place with Bethune Cookman and Savannah State.

Despite some teams having better records, most MEAC games were competitive across the board this season. And like other Mid-Majors, a loss will mean the end of the Season for most teams. This means that every second of this tournament will be very close and down to the wire to the end.

The winners of both tournaments will receive an automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament.
