Aftermath of the TLC PPV: SmackDown Review

This past SmackDown was the aftermath of the TLC pay-per-view, therefore, it is exactly what fans would expect as those wrestlers that lost on Sunday would be looking for revenge. I will provide you with the three best highlights of the show as well as the results.
“Do you really need that boot or is it just a convenient way for you to get out of defending your title against me here tonight?” Ellsworth asks.

 James Ellsworth

The wrestling world was still in shock when everybody fan favorite James Ellsworth showed his true colors at the TLC pay-per-view. Ellsworth turned his back on his former best friend Dean Ambrose and cost him the WWE World Championship. He was happy with actions because he thought he made the best decision due to the fact that he has AJ Styles number because he defeated him three times with the help of Ambrose. Ellsworth was scheduled to face AJ Styles for the WWE World Championship but that did not happen because AJ Styles was in a walking boot.

The Miz and Maryse celebrate with the Intercontinental Chamionship on SmackDown LIVE.

Main event

The SmackDown general manager Daniel Bryan interrupted Miz TV and he made the main event The Miz defending his Intercontinental Championship against Dean Ambrose. Dean Ambrose looked to go back on his winning ways coming off a loss this past Sunday at the TLC pay-per-view. James Ellsworth made his presence known once again as he ran down to ringside, but this time it seemed like he was trying to help Ambrose. The A-Lister took advantage of this chaos and he connected with The Skull Crushing Finale to retain his Intercontinental Championship. After the match, The Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose was pissed off and he ran after James Ellsworth but Ellsworth managed to escape.

Orton & Wyatt retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

Rematch

SmackDown opened up the show with Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton as they defended their new SmackDown Tag Team Championship. The new tag champions were up against the former Tag Team Champions Heath Slater and Rhyno. Slater and Rhyno gave a valiant effort but the Wyatt Family was too much to handle. The New Wyatt Family were able to retain their SmackDown Tag Team Championship. I have a feeling the Wyatt Family with long tag team title run they look unstoppable as Tag Team Champions.
