Samoa Joe Is An Impact Player: RAW Review

RAW last night was another entertaining episode which is now two in a row and as always I provide my overall thoughts as well as the results.

The distraction allows Joe to win his Raw debut match.

Samoa Joe’s Debut

The hottest free agent in wrestling right now Samoa Joe started off the show. Joe made it official when he signed his RAW contract. Reigns decided to interrupt and both Joe and Reigns went back and forth on the mic. The RAW GM Mick Foley made the main event match Joe against Reigns.

I thought that this match was good match Joe did some significant damage. Joe attacked Reigns from behind even before the match started. Reigns look like he was going to pick up the win via a Superman punch it laid out Joe. All of a sudden Strowman decided to interfere in the match. Reigns connected with two Superman punch to take Strowman out of the picture. Joe capitalized with an Enziguiri to the back of the head and an Uranage to seal the match. After the match, Strowman wasn’t done he hit a Running Powerslam through the barricade. Strowman sent a message Reigns weeks out of Fastline.

Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman made quick work of these four jobbers on. Strowman demanded some competition and Mick Foley granted his wish. Foley put Strowman against Reigns at Fastline. The WWE has done a fantastic job with the building strowman into a monster.

US Title match

Sami Zayn wanted to continue his momentum from last week as he picked up a win over Chris Jericho. However, whenever Jericho has a match you know that Kevin Owens would be at ringside. Zayn was the verge of pulling off a massive upset victory. Owens sensed that he best friend was in trouble. The Prizefighter gave a Superkick and after Zayn managed to escape the Walls of Jericho. Jericho followed that up with a Codebreaker to retain his US Title.
