TLC PPV Preview

This Sunday the WWE will be back on pay-per-view with Table, Ladders, and Chairs it will a memorable night for a variety of reasons. Therefore, here are my overall thoughts as well as the predictions for the entire card.

Show must go on

The pay-per-view got an unexpected twist as WWE announced on Friday that both Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt have been pulled from the show due to medical issues. Their replacements are the Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle and AJ Styles has replaced Bray Wyatt.

Alicia Fox vs. Sasha Banks

This should be a quick match in the kickoff show of TLC. Fox is irritated because she has not been given that much TV time for months. However, Sasha Banks defeated Fox via the Bank Statement and made her tap out. She was not happy with her loss. Therefore, she attacked The Boss backstage and even put her hands on a referee. Banks should get the easy one over Fox via the Banks Statement.

Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann vs. Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick

Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann will join the forces to take on the new alliance of Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick. It is very interesting that Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick are now friends. They competed in a series of matches in addition, that The Brian Kendrick would humiliate Gallagher and call him a loser. Both Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann have been attacked by this new team which has led up to this much. Alexander and Swann will bounce back as they will pick up the win.

Asuka vs. Emma

Asuka will finally make her long-awaited debut on the main roster as she will take on a familiar enemy in Emma. She has remained undefeated during her time in NXT. In addition, Asuka made history when she held the NXT Women’s Championship for 510 days. Unfortunately, she had the NXT Women’s Championship stripped from her due to an injury that she suffered. Hopefully, the fans get treated to a good match but the Empress of tomorrow will make quick work of Emma.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Enzo Amore vs Kalisto

Enzo Amore will have his sights set on regaining his WWE Cruiserweight Championship from Kalisto. The Certified G was shocked when he had to defend his Championship randomly against Kalisto courtesy via the RAW general manager Kurt Angle. Amore had a special clause in this contract that everybody that attacked him would not receive a shot at the Cruiserweight Championship. Then, Angle surprised everybody when he announced that he signed Kalisto to the RAW roster. It was a special moment for Kalisto, as he defeated Enzo Amore because it was on his mentor’s birthday of the late great Eddie Guerrero.

Originally it was supposed to be Finn Balor the demon taking on Bray Wyatt split persona Sister Abigail. However, as a result of illness Wyatt was taken off the show and replaced with AJ Styles. Now, this new match presents a dream match scenario between two of the best wrestlers in the world. Ironically both were members of Bullet Club during their time in New Japan. This should deliver on all levels and can be a five-star match.

Raw Women’s Championship

Mickie James vs Alexa Bliss

Micke James will take on the goddess of the WWE Alexa Bliss for RAW Women’s Championship. Ironically Bliss reintroduce James to the WWE this past January on SmackDown live. James was the main reason why Bliss retained her championship on multiple occasions against Becky Lynch.

Bliss managed to survive in a Fatal 5-Way match to retain her Raw Women’s Title at the No Mercy pay-per-view. This feud actually started when Bliss celebrated her victory on RAW Talk. In the process, she called James an old lady. James will overcome all the odds and she will become a seven-time Women’s Champion.

Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Kurt Angle vs. Braun Strowman, The Miz, Kane, Cesaro, and Sheamus (Tables, Ladders, and Chairs 5-on-3 Handicap Match)

On Sunday it was supposed to be the triumphant return of the shield, however, plans were changed. As Kurt Angle, the RAW general manager will make his unexpected return to a WWE ring after 11 years.

The return of Kurt angle makes this match much more intriguing, however, it’s a shame that friends don’t get to witness the highly anticipated return of the shield. Angle, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose will have their hands full as they take on The Miz, Kane, Cesaro, and Sheamus.

Hopefully, Angle doesn’t get hurt in the match with all the carnage involved of tables ladders and chairs. This match can go either way now that Reigns is non-involved in the match, therefore the unexpected team of Braun Strowman, The Miz, Kane, Cesaro, and Sheamus could very well get the win in this contest.
