NXT Invaded Melbourne Australia:NXT Review

NXT invaded Melbourne Australia for the final show on the NXT tour it featured multiple tag team matches in addition to a women’s triple threat match.

Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli vs. The Revival

The rookie tag team of Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli took one of the best tag teams on the NXT roster in the Revival. I was very surprised with the valiant effort the two rookies gave to the Revival. Tino Sabbatelli has significantly improved ever since the last time that I saw him on Breaking Ground. However, the tag team experience seemed to be the difference The Revival hit the Shatter Machine on Moss and they got the win.

Tye Dillinger and Buddy Murphy against Bobby Roode and Ellias Samson

This was a weird tag team match because of the two teams. Dillinger was feeling it behind a vocal crowd him and Murphy made an interesting tag team. On the hand, Bobby Roode and Ellias Samson did not click as a tag team and it showed. Tye Dillinger connected with the Tye-Breaker on Samson to pick up the win for his team and it was the perfect ending for the unlikely duo.

Women’s Triple Threat match

Liv Morgan vs. Bille Kay vs. Ember Moon

This was an intriguing woman’s triple threat match that involved Liv Morgan, Bille Kay, and Ember Moon. Each woman showed off their skill set Kay had an impressing showing in front of her country she had extra motivation. The momentum of the match is when Kay delivered a Powerbomb on Liv Morgan. Moon took advantage of the situation with she hit Kay with the Eclipse which is her signature stunner from the top rope for the win.

NXT Tag Team Championship

TM61 against DIY

TM61 got a massive opportunity as they took on DIY Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Tag Team Championship. TM 61 looked to rebound after they came up short in the Dusty Classic finals at NXT TakeOver Toronto. They young tag team of Shane Thorne and Nick Miller gave the NXT Tag  Champions a run for their money.

Both teams had momentum with their double team tag moves. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa were able to retain their gold they got back to their winning ways. TM61 took a loss the NXT Champions showed class. After the match, there was a handshake both teams got a standing ovation.
